Tony!
I purchased most of my repair sheet metal from Scotts super trucks in Penhold Ab. Not sure what the price was?

Re: Normy71
tk
I'm still looking for a 5.3 L33 DBW and 4l60 2 wd trans. There are a lot of 4wd trans around but the 2 wd are harder to find. I'm trying to make a deal on one threw SGI our government wreckers, but they strip them completely down then try to sell them? which is crappy for us custom builders. Any leads on a complete engine/trans?

Re: Normy71
I got mine complete with everything with under 50 miles on it from Schram auto. They have an ebay store.. I payed $2200+$800 shipping. I talked to several wreakers around here and the one (Reg's) wanted $4500 for a 6.0L/4L80 set with over 200,000km on it and he wasn't sure if the trans worked..

I got some sort of wiring harness? looks like I even got the tail lights! I still need a few bolt and odds and ends. Where to start? Help!!

Re: Normy71
what I did first was strip the harness. If you are going to do it yourself take all of the pins out of the PCM connectors, label them first C1 or C2 and which terminal. Then you have all of your connectors. Start plugging in the sensor connectors and run the wires the way you want then to go.. Decide where you are going to mount the PCM and cut your wires to length and start putting the terminals back into the PCM connectors..
Have fun.. Trevor

Re: Normy71
Some more pictures of the drivers side rocker install.
I still need to flip the cab up and weld from underneath But I will wait until I finish the other side. I'm sure glad I braced up the inside of the cab hold everything in place with all the cutting.

I also got the frame all welded up. I still need to dress up some of the welds it turned out very nice.
I cheated and had a welder friend come over for a visit and handed him the welder! Thanks Bud!!

Re: Normy71
I also picked up some wheels not sure how they are going to look?
My plans are to put 275/60/15 on the rear and 255or235 /60-15 on the front They look good as I have learned from this site. I would like some bigger wheels but see what I can come up with in the future.

Every time I head out to the shop the first thing I see is this long box sitting and waiting to be cut down.
I've got a long way to go!!

Re: Normy71
Got a few things bolted on and still working on the power steering pump pulley!
I had to pull the pulley off to change the install brackets, and my puller installer tool is not metric as required to install this back on, what a pain in the #$$. (I bet the designers are still laughing about that one...) Now I need to find a 10X1.5mm bolt or better yet 10X1.5mm x3/8 in stud so my installer tool will work. That's why it is good to walk away from it for a while..

That's a big list. The next thing on my to order list is engine mounts. I will prob make my own trans mount. I have to clean up my frame and put the front end back together. Touch up the frame paint/ pull the C notch off and paint it. I'm just taking it slow
