My stock 6 lug axles were redrilled to 5 lug and took a beating from my big block. Never had any issues.

Cool! I didnt hear from the machine shop today but when they call back i'll ask em about redrilling..
what did it cost you guys and did you need to buy the studs or did they get them? Where could I get em at too? Thanks

If you were closer I would sell you mine. I have one out of a '71 or '72 for coil springs.

how far from paducka KY (sp?) and how much and what gear ratio? Thanks I PROBABLY wont get it from ya but I may make a trip to grand rivers (just south on I 24 from paduka)

I honestly don't know the distance, but you can map it to 63049.
As far as the gear ratio, not sure, as I have not popped off the rear diff cover to check.

Strange Engineering replacement C clip axles ,5 or 6 lug, for 12 bolt truck...249.95/pair. Measure yours, count the splines and pick up the phone.
