Hey, welcome to the sire..I am down the road from you in San Leandro, I would fix that cab, I did the same repairs on my 62 last year, not really all that hard just takes time and paitience and be sure to get everything test fitted before welding

That looks very fixable-I'd stick with what you have
I'd suggest you have the doors on while you mount the rockers-this will be a good way to make sure everything lines up when you are done.

wat about the doors and fender ther preatty beat up and rusted will it make a diffrence if i just buy some new reprodution doors and fenders will i have any problem has any one ever bougth new repodution parts how did they go

the repop fenders are junk, I had a set and just decided to fix the old ones I had, you would be better off finding a good used set and repairing the rust in the lower sections, doors are about 600$ each new and I suspect they are not great either, I would just repair those too..the panels are availible and are pretty cheap, these trucks still come into the pick n pulls here all the time, I got a good hood from the Richmond yard last year, I will let you know if I see another truck in the yards if you want, there is also craigslist...I see parts there all the time

well i got a chance to take a few but no the best pics i was looking for. the yard was a mess i'll be take some btter ones once i can get it out for the fisrt time in a few years
