I don't think you'll regret going 20's all the way around at all.

DZL1 - what is your drop?

Weircc - what size tires are you running?

Thanks guys

Great choice on style of wheels, love em!
I was thinking of going 18s all around and having more sidewall rubber for a better ride on our crappy roads (plus I'm not a big fan of "rubber band" tires on our style trucks).

Why are some regretting going with the 20/18 Combo? I have the same combo and am looking for tires for them. Does the 20/18 Combo look bad?

If you are not happy with the 18's sell them and get 20's.

Like bigal said, it's just a matter of opinion on what you think looks good. I don't think the 18/20 combo looks bad, but I'm going with the same size wheel all around when I get to that part of the my project.

Hey DZL1. Going the same as you on air too. I would like to know what year rear-end you have. Early 67-68 short or later year wider rear-end? And how much room do you have between the outer fender and the rim/tire? Looks great!

Are you running bags on this truck or just a static drop. and if so how much is it lowered. I have a 5.5/8 drop on mine a i am wanting to put the 20" boss 338 rims on the truck.

Wink Re: Got new wheels today need some opinions.(boss 338s)

It's your truck but I would stay just as u are. 20x8.5" up front and 20x 10" out back. The look is just about the same for the 18" wheel but the side wall is noticably differant when you look at the truck. When I bought my wheels that is what sold me.
I wanted the same amount of side wall all the way around the truck.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Got new wheels today need some opinions.(boss 338s)

I dont own the truck any longer but yes the truck is bagged. Although I dont own a 67-72 era truck anymore, I still visit this forum OFTEN. Because I will own one again!

I currently have a lowered 93 c3500 dually. Planning on bagging that as well. Maybe I'll use it to tow my future 67-72 C-10.......
