Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
I'm still getting some PM's about parting this. I'm only going to part if I can sell the big items. And if I have someone wanting big items they will have to be paid for before I start parting it. Thanks Randy

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
Randy, I know you have the Eagle truck in the works but WHEN YOU GET THE TIME get with me on the BB truck tilt and as to what kind of work it is needing and $$ in present condition. Hope the Eagle truck sells for you, I really think it would be a shame to part a truck in such good condition with all the goodies in it.

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
Awwwww... I'm surprised at the number of people who are turned off by the graphics.
Me? If I had the $$ and knew I could save the graphics package, I'd buy the truck for the decals!!! Good luck Randy, with whatever direction your old pal goes. |

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
I know you said you did not have time to pull the decal. Checking to see if you know about a decal eraser. It's $10 and a little time investment would be required, a couple hours I would guess. Better than using a heat gun picking at it if that was the previous thought.

I'd be interested in the carpet, if it comes apart and if it fits a high hump with no tears in it.

Adding I've also gotten quotes from 1250-1500 as well...depends on how much someone wants the job and has a spot they want to fill (maybe an empty trailer heading home and 500 is better than nothing...

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
$80 of that was just the fees Uship charges. I don't have a trailer of my own or a truck that could tow it. So if I wanted to use a box truck and trailer from Uhaul it was $375 just for the rental. Then 1.00 a mile on the truck. So $600 in mileage, $375 for the rental and $200 in gas = $1175.. So in my case, I didn't think $480 was bad. Plus, he delivered it in the threat of impending snow storms and below zero degree temps..
