Re: Ole Trusty is gone.
Nice ride Justin. I have mixed feelings about that one as well. I hear ya though. It is hard to get everyone in a truck to go to a cruise-in or show. I guess you siad you were looking for one of those. I am still wanting some pics of that build.

That is the same car you were looking at, right? Nice job. When you want something, you go after it!

Re: Ole Trusty is gone.
I would have made the same swap in a hot second too. 62 Impala is my all time favorite and the Biscaynes are awesome. My favorite was (if I remember correct was in a magazine long ago) a 62 Biscayne called "Bisquik". Congrats!!

Re: Ole Trusty is gone.
Love those Biscayne's!
I'm an old timer and the very first car I bought (in 1968) was a 1963 Biscayne with a 409 and three on the tree. I sure wish I still had that car! Oh, BTW, I paid $500.00 for it. |

Re: Ole Trusty is gone.
Family outtings are what its all about. If your lucky enough that your spouse is into it take advantage of it. Both my kids are grown now but it wasn`t that long ago we were traveling together in my `67 Sub up and down the east coast to events and races. Nothing is kooler then a family day in a classic.
BTW the bisc is bad azzzzz.

Re: Ole Trusty is gone.
Thanks guys! I actually tried to buy the same car on eBay 2 months back but couldn't make a deal, and I bought the car from the new owner after it sold on eBay!

Re: Ole Trusty is gone.
I love it! Cool car! Like we talked about at the show its all about family!! It was great meeting you. Now that you have a family car you can always find you an old truck for a father and son/daughter project!

Re: Ole Trusty is gone.
I loved your truck but that Biscayne is awesome too. If I were to ever get a car I'd either like a 62 or a 55 Belair. Loved the patina look.

I like the car, man. I would have wanted to have both, but you gotta choose sometimes. Hopefully we'll still run into y'all sometime soon!

Re: Ole Trusty is gone.
Saw Justin's old 67 at Southern Kentucky Classics today. They were removing the air ride and going back with a 4.5/6 static drop.
Btw Justin I love the Biscayne!!
