I love this truck! Killer plans for a quick build. Honestly, I wish Craftsman tools were still 100% American made but it's cool they sponsored this American made project.

As promised, some more pics of the truck!

With chassis assembly coming together, we can begin the process of addressing the bed and cab.

With the assortment of Dynacorn panels and trim parts available, we have a nice, clean starting point to build upon.









With the new shortbed together, we create the opening in the bed floor to clearance the rear kickup and the cover panel.

I don't know that I would say it 'cheapens' the build, we did it to replicate the CHEVROLET letters normally stamped on the tailgate: not to create more/less visual impact...it will also be painted, not left bright metal like that...

I guess that's the cool thing about these trucks...everyone would do it differently!
