Roadster Shop / Craftsman C-10 Muscle Truck Build
We are pleased to introduce a new Roadster Shop C-10 build coming your way!
We have teamed up with Craftsman Tools to build a '69 Chevy C-10, utilizing our FAST TRACK C-10 chassis, Forgeline wheels and a host of custom touches to make for a pretty badass truck. The build is being documented, filmed and will be featured on the Craftsman YouTube site, Club Community, Facebook page etc. The truck will then be auctioned at Barrett Jackson with all proceeds going to Heroes at Home charity. Check out the preview video!: The starting point: |

Re: Roadster Shop / Craftsman C-10 Muscle Truck Build
With the teardown underway, a vote was held across the Craftsman and our Facebook pages to select the main color for the truck.
After 3470 votes, the charcoal scheme was voted as winner. We then offered two distinct options based on the charcoal scheme: 1. or 2. with over 6600 votes, we have a winner, but which one would you go for? |

#2 is the proper scheme for 69-70 but I prefer #1

Re: Roadster Shop / Craftsman C-10 Muscle Truck Build
I like them both but would go #2 on the '69. It looks more performance oriented to me.

Re: Roadster Shop / Craftsman C-10 Muscle Truck Build
#2 paint scheme is the only choice with the 69-70 grille.
#1 if you use a 71-72 grille.

But then again I'm partial to that paint scheme for the 69-70 trucks.

Either way, it should be a sharp looking truck. The charcoal will be an Aston Martin color...it looks awesome. |

Re: Roadster Shop / Craftsman C-10 Muscle Truck Build
Given that we have somewhat of a reputation for C-10's with tidy handling, this one will be no different...
As mentioned, this will be getting our FAST TRACK C-10 chassis (More info HERE) with 9" rear and Strange rear axle and gears. And to perfectly compliment the FAST TRACK chassis, our RS by Penske double adjustable coilovers... and stopping duties taken care of with 6 piston Wilwood's up front and 4's on the rear. |
