Re: nice lowered sb's seem rare anymore

Harder to find good ones....Is good if you got one , their going up...Bad if your looking...I had a guy come up to me twice at a car show last summer he offered 12k first time and I said no. He came back later and said 15 ?
While I may have countered on the 15 if I needed money or was wanting something else. I just told him not for sale. I got too much effort and time and money in it.
Besides I promised it to my son when I croak.

Re: nice lowered sb's seem rare anymore

Those are some good looking trucks!

That said, I count myself fortunate to like longbeds more than shorties... They command a fair price these days, that's for sure!

No idea why I like longbeds more--just preference I guess. I grew up around farming, logging, and construction, so it's just a case of there being more longbeds than shortbeds around.

I love the basic 2WD LWB plain-jane farm truck above just about anything. That aside, I'd like a 4x4 Crew. I think SWB trucks look really cool lowered, though I've owned lowered cars and trucks in the past, and personally prefer stock-height these days-- hough I do use my truck for work a bit...

But that's what's so much fun about the car and truck hobby... You get to do whatever you want!

If I see any nice looking SWBs around, I'll post 'em up. Happy hunting!

Depends on if they offered a stepside longbed in this bodystyle or not, I don't remember. That's a short.
