Used a tank set up from LMC with side fill. Going to run it to my bumper and have the licence plate flip down and expose the filler. I have the original step bumper so should be somewhat easy.

I had to remove the spare tire carrier bracket as well as move the rear cross member back in order for it to fit. the width I didn't have to change. How wide is your frame opening from side to side?
