Re: John's Project

LOL, walk softly around me!! Hehehe, I was a reserve here for about a year up until last year, and volunteered with the sheriffs office from 95 until 04. Not doing it any more, too difficult to do it with kids and my wife's wacky schedule.

Nope, he's still investigating the disappearance of his camera. It's tough as hell being a pic cop with no pic taker.

Yeah didn't take long at all. Had some things come up last night, that put everything on hold. So progress will be extremely slow.

Re: John's Project

Thanks man. That is kind of why I got the picture police designation is because of my lack of pics of my build.

You only wish that was your photo!

How far are you from needing the serpentine setup?

Re: John's Project

That's the thing I'm waiting on.

I was also looking at using the brackets from the earlier trucks. I didn't realize until the other day that they had the alternator, and a/c swapped from where they are on mine. However Joe busted my bubble about them working with a short water pump, and such.

So I'm just needing something to swap sides, and look clean. I like the serp setup, but was looking at the other idea just for giggles I guess.

Sounds like John needs it yesterday.....

So Travis, are you gonna hook me up with some vortecs, or what?

Re: John's Project

Actually bro I was planning on using the vortecs on the 383.

Do you need a set of heads or did you just want some vortecs? I have a set of heads that I pulled off a running 350 a while back with the 1.94 intake vavles but I'm not sure about the cc's. I was thinking they were 72cc. We could work something out on those but you'd probably want to do a valve job on them.
