Re: How much $$ do you have into your truck?

71 K20. Bought it for $750 Feb 05. About $150 in front end parts and brakes. The truck had been sitting for a few years so I replaced some stuff just for reliabiliy. Alternator, starter, battery, HEI internals etc... about $200 in all so my grand total is about $1100 or so.

It's been my daily driver/work truck since I got it. I've pulled some pretty heavy loads all over central Indiana on the trailer in the pics. Probably somewhere between 20 and 30 thousand miles. The body is effectively beyond repair, but it keeps most of the rain off. See my recent thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=180274Current goal is to find a little Hondacar or something to drive over the winter and do some much deserved work. But it's gotta be ready for the 06 work season!!!

This summer.

Re: How much $$ do you have into your truck?

I'd rather 10k to 20k in these trucks then buy anything new!
Computers and plastic are for business operations.
