Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
Guys I'm making a decision on this thing in morning I have a local guy coming to look at cab and AC stuff. I'm going to make a decision very soon. Its not like I haven't had it for sale a couple days, its been on the truck for sale adds for 5 months. I would like to see it stay together but parting it is not looking too bad. Thanks Randy

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
Glad it worked out for you. Im sure everyone will agree once the parts make their way to new homes. That being said, I have no idea what is already spoken for or what is going with the cab but I would like to get in line for the belts, door panels, and dash pad. With all the interest, its probably a long shot.

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
Its going to revive alot of old trucks for sure. I'll start a new thread probably next weekend on the whole truck. The only thing I'm really selling on this thread is front clip and bed. I have cab and bare doors sold.
Thanks Randy

Honestly, I don't know where you get the energy, You bottle that stuff up in the clubhouse all day? Or maybe you just have it down to such a science you can take one apart in your sleep I bet you have all the right tools to take one apart too...... Maybe i'm just too old for that kind of labor. |

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
Mike, it wears me down sometimes, I was pretty tired after working on the BB truck all day Mon. This time of year its not the busiest at golf course so I do get some free time, plus I work in clubhouse some this time of year so I sit on my butt. Summers gets to be some long days, thats when I'm taking care of the greens and fairways, I go to work at 6 till 2:30 then come home and do truck stuff.
Guys I'm hopefully to start parting this truck next weekend, I don't want this thread to become a parts for sale thread for small stuff. I'm going to be using some of the parts off this truck for my blazer build, wing windows, door guts, tailgate, aux battery tray and some other stuff I have cab sold doors sold someone interested in motor and someone intersted in bed so the only thing not spoken for that was stated in this thread is the front clip All the other parts off this trucks will have to be spoken for in the new thread I start Thanks Randy

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
It is done now but why would the decals have killed a sale? It is obvious the truck needed paint anyway, so it should have been a non issue, no? Sometimes I am confused

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
Guys only thing left to sell on this thread is the front clip, possibly bed, and motor. The cab and front clip are SOLD already.
Leroy-B1, they are sold for sure, sorry HeavyMetalchevy, let me know on front clip. Its a LWB C20 Kellytheaker, it will be listed when I start the new thread HeavyD, I'm real surprised it did not sell whole, I've had it listed for atleast 5 months but no one stepped up. I honestly think the C20 hurt it more, if it had been a C10 with stripes I think it would of sold Thanks Randy

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
I am shocked as well that it didn't sell. I considered it strongly but that would mean yet another year my slime one would sit in the bush. Glad someone got to use the parts off it at least.

I'd like the radiator support if it's not rusted through.

Re: Checking interest parting the EAGLE 72 AC truck
Randy,
If you do not sell the engine as a whole I would like a shot at the air cleaner, carb (is it a 7042208?), distributor, and that metal vac advance line. Also still interested in talking about the bed if the other party did not take it. Thanks man! Tim |
