Got the swag in a couple of stages. The wife likes the hat. I don't wear ball caps, so she's welcome to it.

My wife is not allowed to touch anything that belongs to my truck! Correction she can ride in it!

Re: 100 Years of Chevy Trucks- Are you a "Legend"?
Fat chance I'd get away with that! She used to drive that truck in to LA to go to college, back when she was a 98-pound weakling. Daddy had to buy her a '69 Nova, as this was eating up the fuel. Being in the family that long, it holds a lot of memories for her. This makes it easy to drop coin on it. She balked at a 454 Crate engine, though.

What ever the next engine I choose to replace the 383 in my truck will be my choice.
My wife's job is to be pretty while sitting in the right seat!

Re: 100 Years of Chevy Trucks- Are you a "Legend"?
I gotta give GM huge props for doing this FOR FREE. The calendar is very high quality and very cool. The stickers and hat were a nice bonus too. Huge thanks to GM for giving out what was not a cheap freebie

Re: 100 Years of Chevy Trucks- Are you a "Legend"?
The wife loves the hat. Other than the calendar, and what I will call baseball cards, is there any other bling? Just curious. I've been a Chevy guy forever. I even put a SBC in my '68 Buick Skylark GS.

I've got my 68 LWB in there, 100k club. Swag box arrived today
That's some smart marketing, build brand identification and loyalty with long time owners, who'll pass that along to the next generation. Well, that didn't take too long, folks already trying to turn good will from GM into cold cash on Ebay… https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-Chevr...itleDesc=0%7C0

Re: 100 Years of Chevy Trucks- Are you a "Legend"?
The calendar has already been recycled. Are all the baseball cards the same? Maybe there will be some trading going on, and rare cards may emerge! My wife loves the baseball cap; she'll probably wear it next time we go camping. I should take those number stickers and make the sign up to show the 210k+ miles on the truck. I bet it has gone 5k miles in the last 10 years!

Re: 100 Years of Chevy Trucks- Are you a "Legend"?
https://www.forbes.com/sites/danbigm...n-u-s-history/
Seams a little out there. I love my truck but Chevrolet that made my truck no longer exists. All the good assets of GM were split into a new company . There was even talk that the new GM wasn't going to honor warranties on vehicles built before the bailout restructuring. All the bad assets Pontiac olds Saturn was still owned by GM and allowed to die when it went under. Its like Indian motorcycles claiming to be the oldest motorcycle company in America. Except they have ceased production went bankrupt and sold multiple times. May just be my perception but after the bankruptcy it's not the same company.
