Thanks,i haven't had the front end alined yet but it drives straight as an arrow, brakes nice.Biggest improvement is the power steering handles nice not to jumpy on the wheel.I put the shim kit in the power steering pump since its a gm pump with ford rack.Rides alot smoother then it did with the stock suspension, truck stays level going around a turn. The No Limit IFS feels great hooks around a corner nicely. Its going to be a nice cruiser with the 3.08 rear,i don't have a tach but the engine doesn't sound like its running that high at all cruising around 40.Not really comfortable yet driving it but each time i take it out i'm sure that will change.Got that fear something will break or not work right since its my first build.

Kawbe since i'm done i figured that you would send me a plane ticket to attend your blocking party.

Looks awesome! I especially like the color, but I'm biased. Be sure to post pics of the interior when it's all together.

That's great to hear. Your first build turned out great. Plane ticket? You don't need no freakin plane ticket. Its a good reason to drive the truck.lol

Re: 57 Step Side

Thanks to all once again, when i started it last November I didn't think it would take that long but that was a year ago.So missed a whole car season and winter is just setting in so another 4 months to wait for the good weather again.I should get a few more rides in before the salt flys.

Finally got the interior done, upholstery guy works on his schedule not yours. But he did a nice job though so i can't complain on a low budget simple interior.

Re: 57 Step Side

The compact unit with defroster, systems works great.Haven't used the air yet but the heat works great. You have to lose the glove box though because there is just not enough room for everything.

I brought the whole system except for the compressor which came on the gm belt unit. The condenser is ok from Vintage nothing special ,i wanted to get one of those that come as a unit with the radiator but i was tight for space. They sold it as peices though, unit, dryer, condesor, heat valve, vents, controller, hoses and fittings. You just go on Vintage Air online catolog and write down all the parts you want. The guy at the place also installs them so he was helpful to point out certian things if you forget them.

Re: 57 Step Side

Charged the Vintage Air conditioning with the freon, got lucky no leaks, electrical system turns fan on when AC is turned on.Very cool on the inside of the cab now compared to when i had no power steering and no AC and was trying to parallel park on a hot summer day, lol.
