The same to you! Be safe with that grinder man!
It's looking great. I think a newly made bezel will be awesome. Look like an original but with a modern twist.

Re: 68 Four door build
I didnt get to my shop until after 5pm but I still was able to get some work done on my 4 door build. Im still not sure if Im going to go with a small door like the passenger side or use full size doors and make it a real crew cab.
Here are a few pictures from Saturday night. Last edited by tomsprojects; 01-01-2012 at 02:39 PM. |

Quote:
The problem I've seen on the full door style is the window areas never look right. The rear doors always look a bit too long and they tend to look like huge work trucks. Even using a short bed it will be a looong truck. Aren't the rear doors a bit shorter than the front on the newer crew cabs also?

Re: 68 Four door build
I'd make it as long as you need to comfortably fit people in the back seat. If I ever find a burb tub, that's how I'm going to do mine.

Re: 68 Four door build
You sure can cut up a burb and a truck fast.Looking forward to this build.Makes me wish I could build one.I think a full size rear door would look fun.So I say keep the rear door smaller then the front.Just my 2 cents.Tony
