BTW the truck turned out really nice.
THanks Alan, If you can't rotate your compressor for some reason, You can buy the metal hose fittings that will bring them over down the side of the compressor. If you look at my compressor I have the fittings that bring the hose connections down, They have two types, One for the top of the comp, one for the side fittings like mine. the drier, I used a muffler clamp, the nuts are under the carpet & padding, You can't see or even feel them. hope this helps...

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind when I fine tune my system.

Thanks CRGRS, the dash extention & the console turned out just how I wanted them too. I'm happy with the whole outcome of the truck, even though it went way overboard from what it was going to be...

Re: It's just a work truck!

The plan was to cover the whole door with upholstery some day. I thought until then I could make a little panel to brake up all the orange. and now that I did, I sorta like it this way, I may just keep it this way.

Re: It's just a work truck!

I made up some side kick panels and covered them with vinyl. I wanted to try the vents for now, most of the year we have nice weather.. If I end up not useing them I'll take them out and make new panels.

I love your build thread, full of ideas. What was the tailgate skin for originally? I too am building a custom tailgate and I was wondering about a skin

Re: It's just a work truck!

This Truck is Awesome, Dad's and Brothers trucks are in the same class. Hard to say this is just a work truck since we don't know where you work. My guess is at the museum of Bad-a$$ vintage show trucks...... Sport trucks had this article about painting chrome, I hope to try it ....http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl...0_chrome_paint

Re: It's just a work truck!

Love all the interior details. Do you know what they used for the backer on the headliner? And do you know how they attached it to the roof? The whole truck is just exquisite!
