ok i need to fidn suspension parts for my 84
which company out there has quality stuff, but isnt going to bak rupt me doing it..
i got my 84 3/4 gmc, 454.. i have for gotton the priceing i did a couple yrs ago but if i rember right it is about 3 to 400 per side? or was it 400 for both sides..like i said i forget..i need everything to do a complete rebuild on the front end.. i also need a right side upper control arm/ A arm..i have found out that is my problem on the right side, the bushing have been gone for a while and the holes are wallowed out bad. this is all so why i am not driving it to much, because the right front wheel should have fallen off by now, and there is no reason to keep tempting fate... anyway i just ned a good place to deal with on a limited budget, but i definatly need to get it done.. thanks for any info.. billy

Re: ok i need to fidn suspension parts for my 84
I used these guys a few years ago when i did my S10 front end all the parts were top quality but it wasn't a complete set like they said i still had to get the outter tierods and the center link or drag link what ever you like to call it locally.
http://www.p-s-t.com I used the polygraphite set but if i were to do it over i'd use the standard set the poly set made the ride too stiff and even tho i used the lube i squeaked alot. As for your A frame i'd go to the junk yard for that and i'd also get the cross shaft too cuz it's probably wasted too. Last edited by 87 STEPPER; 05-15-2007 at 02:59 PM. |

I went all Moog on mine as well. They were all in stock at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Summit Racing carries them, too. They don't list them all in the catalog, but I think they stock them. Buying a kit like 87STEPPER suggested is probably cheapest, but I have no experience with that. Slonaker |
