ID transfer case??
how do i ID my transfer case i have.. i got it out of 78 3/4 ton truck automatic.. i am putting it in a 72 chevy with a four speed is this going to work?? i need help new to all of this stuff.

http://www.advanceadapters.com/acrobat/gm.pdf Bottom line if its a NP205 transfer case it will have a silver dollor sized cover on the backside with three bolts holding it on. Bill |

NP205 input shafts are different depending on which tranny they were mated to.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |
