What autometer gauges?
I need to know what to monitor they are going in a 71 c10 weekend driver/cruiser with a bbc 468 I know for sure I want a tach but then should I monitor water temp,oil temp,oil pressure ect...Also from what I've read I should be looking at the electrical not mech. gauges right?..Thanks

here is what we did on my 71
speedo Tachometer Oil Pressure Water Temperature fuel Volts hope this gives you an idea.

I have Speedo, Tach, Fuel Level, Oil press, volts, temp, trans temp. All electric, except speedo.

With only 250 miles on the ticker, sounds like a good time to make sure the gauges work.

i'm also looking at putting in gauges soon, why would you want electric over mechanical any reason in particular?

I am multitask kind of a guy plus my truck rides like ferrari so 'i can do things like that
250 miles on this cluster gauge, truck has probably around 3k since completed.....
