68 C20 LWB parting out
hi, I am parting out a 68 C20 LWB, does not have a bed.

If you don't know what transmission came in the truck, I would first look in the cab at the gas pedal assembly and see if there is a switch mounted to the pedal bracket. It is a long plunger style switch that is activated when the gas pedal is stomped on. If you have that then there should be a wire going to it and also the fuse box and a wire running down to the tranny.

I could use a cross member out of that frame if you are cutting the frame up. It is the furthest rear cross member that is riveted into place.
Let me know if you would be interested in cutting this out, maybe cut the frame right in front and right in back of it unless you have a blue wrench to get the rivets out without hurting the cross member. |
