Man that looks pretty damn clean, thanks for the pics.

Those wheels look like hubcaps.

The drip rails just do not look right at all. He should have shaved 'em. None the less, looks good.

I am so tempted to build a 2wd, crewcab, shortbed 81-87.

Wow, this is funny, I just pulled up next to 84-87 extended when getting on the freeway this morning, it was done in a stock gold and tan exterior with a camel interior. I told my wife that would be fun to have and fix up and here you show what I pictured. Small world.

Hey prerunner, do you have any pics of the inside, I'd like to see them.

Now for a really stupid question for those of you who have shaved your drip rails - whats the difference? I mean, when it rains do you notice water dripping in, our are they only there for when you get out, preventing rain from coming off the roof?

Like I would need to worry about rain here in phoenix.

Very clean!

Now excuse my ignorance. On my K5 and My Burb the fill door is much farther up. Is that the stock location of the fill door?

Grim, that is stock location for the fuel filler. the 99+ side moulding makes it look a little different.

Tom, interior is clean, but stock. bench seat and everything. extended cab has no seats or anything, just extra space.

I have seen a few of those around Houston. Who made them, they always look like they were made by the same company.

They were made by a couple of coach companies.. same type of companies that make limos. I dont remember thier names right off hand, though this topic has been discussed a couple of times.
