Engine Wiring - what connects to temp sensor

Hello all,

i'm wiring up my engine currently and am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I have the correct temp sending unit in my intake, but am unsure as to how you get a wire on this unique looking thing:

Chevy had a special wire connector that slid over it from the side, but the aforementioned female spade connector will work fine if you're not concerned with originality.
