1970 panel info.

Just bought a 1970 panel truck and would like to get as much info about the trucks history as possible. Anybody know where I can get this info? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the board...where are you located?
Here is a thread on how to get a GM restoration packet. If it is a canadian truck, and was sold up there new, then you can get some specific info on it, otherwise, just what you see, and what kind of pics you can post.
What are the details of your panel?

Welcome to the board from southern Mississippi. Panels are kool and 70 was the last year they were produced so that makes it a bit cooler. We like pictures around here, so give us show and what this new child looks like and your plans.

I am in the San Francisco Bay area. Don't have any pictures yet as I am new to the whole picture online thing and don't know where to go to get someone to host my pics. You guys are giving me the type of info I am looking for, thanks. I pretty much know that the truck was assembled in Fremont, came original with a V-8, and was white. I am trying to find out how many were made in 1970, what all of the options available at the time were, etc. Basically trying to find out just how rare the truck is.
