8" Harmonic balancer in 402BB?
My stock 402BB engine is out of the truck and it is under restoration and I'm replacing my stock 7" harmonic balancer because it came apart with an 8" Balancer in my 402BB ,They don't make the 7" anymore. Will I have any problems with it hitting the cross member or have any other problems with it not fitting? Does anyone else have an 8" balancer on their BB truck and does it fit ok? Thanks everyone. Dave

I have an 8 inch balancer on my 454 big block. Clears everything by a mile.
