Spark plug gap with TBI distributors
Can someone tell me what spark plug gap I should be using for a TBI setup off of an '87 350...
Are the TBI distributors HEI? I swapped this TBI onto my 85 305 and obvioisly replaced the carbureted HEI distributor which used a gap of 0.045. It never occurred to me (until now) that I should change the gap! I think a non HEI gap is around .035??? What would 0.010 do for plug spark?? thanks.

The proper gap determines the duration and how hot the spark is. If the engine requires a .060 gap you need to to gap them that way reguardless of the distributor.
