1996 GMC truck keeps stalling

After replacing my intake manafold gasket I started having a problem with my truck stalling. It is an intermittent problem. While driving my truck will sputter and i will get no gas to the engine while I hit big bumps, sometimes the truck will completely die while driving. Other times the truck will die when i am coming to a stop. I tested my fuel pump and was getting 40 psi but that was when i was obviously stationary. While driving im not sure if the bupms that i am hitting are knocking the pumps wiring loose or something. Ill take any ideas. Thanks for the replies.

I was thinking that the filter was clogged and after driving a while the system was starving for fuel.Did not know it was when you hit a bump. Sounds like a loose wire somewhere. Good Luck
