Wear shoes?

Or fasten a rubber cup over the switch. Kinda like the switch on my shop-vac. Radio-shack (or any electronics shop should have adequate replacement switches that'll work under the dash. I've got a couple that I was gonna use to jimmy my backup lights until I get my replacement column in.

You know I thought it would be cool to drill a mounting hole and wire a toggle to the column. You'd be putting a hole in the column, but it would be easier to get to, and you could hide the wires along with the turnsignal harness and the fiber optic for the auto indicator.

You might have to bezel out a cylinder shaped piece so it would sit flush against the curvature of the column, but I think it would look cool.

Just an idea...

I already had a hole under the dash where someone has previousley mounted a toggle so I just utilized that hole. I like the idea b/c now I don't have to wory about it getting wet or it being in the way when I strech my big feet. lol
Thanks,
Mario
