quick Question about shortbox frames

Someone once told me that a 65 or 66 shortbox frame will work under a 71 body, except for having to change over to 5 lug, also i heard that a 73-80 crossmember will bolt right in as well, can someone please verify this, thanks.

I am 66% positive that the frames are the same. Just make sure to ger a later one with coil springs...the earlier trucks in the 60 - 66 had torsion bars.
