frame question

hey guys i havent posted in a while thats cause ive been busy on my truck since i just got my cab and front clip and hood back from the body guy now my old truck used to have a 3 speed in it and im puttin a TH400 on my new one and there is still the old 3speed crossmember there do i have to drill the ribvets out to fit my TH400 into the frame ??? and yes i have the automatic trans crossmember but it looks like the other one will be in the way am i correct???

It had to come out on my truck when I swapped from 3 speed to Turbo 400.

Thats exactly what i am in the process of doing right now, you will need to remove the manual trans Xmember to make it work, cut off the rivet heads and use a punch to pound them out, beware it's a b**** to get out the frame i just hacked mine in half(the easy way).
