292 in the wings

I have this greasy but complete (PS too) 292 out of a 72 waiting for either truck, just in case. I think it would be an awesome engine in either the GMC plow or the 1 ton!

That's a good thick coat of "rust preventative" you got on the 292! I still can't get used to the idea of snow thick enough to need a plow.

Jeff,

Installation of the plow is a predictor of the snow to come. I have the plow on my John Deere but not on my truck yet. I am trying to hold off as I need more time before it snows, (of course it is going to snow regardless of whether I am ready or not).

You will have to post pics when it snows.

Jim

Looks good!--you know by putting the plow on you've guarenteed at least another month without snow!

I just got back from a deer hunting trip up north. We stay at a friend's house.
He is the county snow plow driver.
He put his plows on Sunday afternoon.

CPNE, I've seen the pictures you've posted before of your son's dually, but I wonder if you mind posting a good, direct from the side picture, of the truck?

I'm shortening mine from 150 whatever it is now to the normal 133 length wheelbase and I'd like to collect a few side shots of 133 trucks for reference/ motivation.

Waking up to 3 inches Saturday AM was all the motivation I needed.

FYI, the pics were taken Sunday AM, it'll be a few more weeks before any "sticks". Ground has to freezw first.
