repop instrument bezel quality

has anyone bought one of the black and chrome gauge bezels for the 67-72 trucks yet?i was thinking of getting one but had seen some at a swap meet this weekend(webster,fla) and they didnt look all that great.thanks for any info.

Some are good and some have a tooling mark right at the bottom of the circle where the stock gas gauge goes....looks like crap.

Hey bigunde, You can call me Toll Free 1-877-654-2287 . They are a couple of diffrent companys that makes these and one of them does not look good at all! I want even carry that brand.

I have only seen the good ones. The only issue with these bezels is on the back side. Do not go by the targets they cast in if you need to drill another hole. They are not in the same place as the originals. This is only important is you have a 67-68 truck or a burb with rear A/C.

Not sure who made the bezel but when I re-built my 4x4 and installed the factory tach I got my bezel from: Classic Chevrolet Parts, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Caught it on sale, standard bezel, black and chrome face, everything dropped in like it was made for it. Really pleased, not sure about all re-pops but this one fit like a glove. Hope you have the same luck.
