WTB and need help with HATCH and locks - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My double wall hatch is locked open. I have no key. I only have an ignition key for my Jimmy. I would like to buy a set of locks and keys. Does the door key open the hatch? Is there a code somewhere for the keys? How can I get it open? Has anyone else had to deal with this? I am open to any ideas.

take the door lock out and take it to a locksmith and get a key made or if you dont want to take the lock out take the truck to the locksmith but that cost more

My ignition, door, hatch are all the same key. A lock smith should be able to get the numbers off the lock itself or be able to measure and make you a new key.
