here's a few pics of us getting it out into the frontyard so it can be rolled into the garage

Enjoy the time you spend with your dad. You won't believe the empty spot you'll have in your life once he's gone.

That ain't no lie! I like the black truck too. Any more pics of it? I hope also that you take lots of progress pics of your truck. Looks like a nice start.
Um....I need to edit this as a post was slipped in before mine. My " That ain't no lie " I was talking about time with your dad. :p

What are your long term plans with the '67. Man I love those trucks. What
Tex said about spending time with your dad is definitely the truth. I spent alot of time working, hunting and fishing with my dad and learned so much, so soak up all you can cause it's gotta last a lifetime! Most of all, LISTEN to what he says, cause someday you'll need his advice, and he won't be there to give it, but you'll remember things he said, and most of it can be used at some point in your life. Sorry for the speech CPNEJR.

thats ok sweet72 and don't worry i do everything you said and i love every minute of it
my longterm plans for it are to keep most of it stock except for the motor which is a 350 and the paint is going to be a reddish orange and the interior is going to be a factory color until I have the money to buy new stuffto redo it

Getting Started
Nice of dad to give you some garage time/space.
Now that that honkin' huge burb is outta the way, you've got some room to work. I saw your truck when it was "out under the trees" last year. Glad to see it got moved to the front row for repair/resto work. Keep us posted. Sorry I missed you guys on your visit to VT, catch ya next time. |

dads
keep up the good work and again to sound like a broken record enjoy the time with your dad. Some of the best times of my life (and worst too. ha ha) have been building cars with my dad. I am 26 and in the Air Force now, and 1300 miles away. I still work on projects with him but only when I am on leave, which is never enough. so again enjoy him even when he is looking for a tool and telling you that you lost it, even when it is just him forgeting where HE put it.

It is good to see CPNEJR and CPNE the elder mention each other with pride and respect. It doesn't get any better than that.

Great project. I hope the plan is to get it finished so you can take your drivers test in it.
BTW, cherish the time you will have with your father helping you with this project.
