Firing order and casting number questions
where besides mortec.com can i find engine casting number breakdowns-i have a casting number for a non-chevy block so i need to know what it is.
also what engines have the firing order 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3. thanks

Does it have sefi? I also think vortec's have that order, some marine vortec's do. not sure about the vortec's though edit -that would be the 8.1L vortec |

Does it have sefi? I also think vortec's have that order, some marine vortec's do. not sure about the vortec's though i dont know all i have is the block,connecting rods and main caps.it has no intake,exhaust or any external accessories.all i have is the casting number off the pad at the back of the motor.as far as the firing order its taken off a intake manifold i have i have no clue what its off i know its not a chevy one i know that much,
