Anybody have instuctions for care and feeding of oil bath air cleaner?
I have one and want to know what weight oil to use (winter and summer) as well as how to fill with oil, tips, maintenance, etc.

Be careful when removing it, feed it to a dumpster! Just kidden'! But actually, that is what I always did with them. Too much mess for me, and I never was convinced of their effeciency.

We are supposed to service the oil bath air filter on our Farmall every 10 hours of operation, but I assume that is in a very dusty environment. When I took it off to clean it out, the oil was the consistency of dry mud, looks like it is about 50 years old.

I know it's not the most desirable of options but its a cool piece of nostalgia IMO...exactly what holds my interest in vintage vehicles. The oil bath air cleaner is the offset style for sixes with power brake boosters and is complete in excellent condition. I'll post a pic or 2 once I have it installed.
