Drag times tonight!
Heading to Gainesville tonight to get some 1/4 mile numbers. Hopefully I don't break anything.
Maybe I can down a Mustang or two. I want to try out this good weather and get some times before I get the Ram air setup.

1st time with the truck? If not what were your previous times? I wonder whatever happened to getting a race section on here.

Yea, 1st time running the 1/4. I ran an 1/8 mile crappy no traction track before.
Best tonight was a 13.28sec @ 99.25mph. I'm pretty happy with that. Should be able to break the 100mph mark easily with a cold air setup. I ran slicks tonight, and it hooked like glue! Now the truck is also going on a diet for some 12's.

Thanks. Yea, I actually had a 1.87 60ft time. The truck has a JW 10.5" torque converter w/ 2800 stall speed & 3:73 rears. The guy I bought the truck from really set it up well. I thought I was actually gonna have more work to do.
As far as the motor it has Dart pro1 alum heads, Crane "BlueRacer" .234/.244 @.050" .488"/510" lift cam, Edelbrock performer air gap intake and Holley 700 dbl pmp w/ headers. Seems the truck needs alittle work on the topend. I'm throwing around the idea of grill inserts when I do the ram air setup. Hopefully I'll lose some drag on the front. Also need some elec fans! I wish my car hooked as good as the truck! (Firebird) Russ

Also, since the motor has forged internals, I'm thinking about nitrous. Are there many bottle users on this board? To this day I've never had nitrous on any of my vehicles.
