Exclamation Need pics of air bags on rear trailing arms.

Need pics of air bags on rear trailing arms. I want to know if I need to do anything to my frame before I have it powder coated.

i don't have a camera that works at the moment but, my bags bolt in in the same place as the stock coil spring. however i would suggest that you c-notch your frame and do all modifications before powder coating to ensure good fit and finish. that way when you get your frame back, all you have to do is put it back together

Rear bags on Blazer frame. Mounting on a truck frame is identical.

Do you have any pics of how the bags are attached and plumbed for air delivery? I noticed that yours is not c-notched any reason why? Thanks

The pics are not of my truck, just one I saw this summer at Texas Heatwave. It is C-notched (as 68w/sbc406 noted). My truck is also notched, although a little differently to accomodate the Early Classic extended track bar.

As far as attaching the bags to the frame, the bottom of the bag bolts to the trailing arm with a single bolt and washer (3/8" I believe). The top requires drilling three holes in the frame, or using a bracket like Air Ride Tech makes.

Check this thread for more info and pix concerning rear bag mounting.

Here's a pic of how my frame is notched on the passenger side to provide clearance for the extended track bar.

Take a look at the picture you posted. That black bar near the bottom is the ECE super track bar... being caused problems by the c-notch.

I see the super track bar, but I am not sure what problems you are refering to, please explain. I am trying to understand how all these things work together before I start my frame. The frame pictured is not my, I used it as an example.

The bar is already hitting the bottom of the frame and the rearend isn't up into the c-notch yet.

Here's a shot of mine. I extended the opening in the c-notch so the bar could clear. Others have modified the bar end bracket, but my method keeps the bar more horizontal, which is the ideal position for a Panhard bar. Either method works though.
