You might want to check with Fedex but when it comes to large items, Greyhound is usually pretty competitive. I am a little surprised that UPS will accept the shipment. It must be an oversize rate.

I had some shipped to me through GreyHound $40-$50. The only thing was I had to pick them up at the Greyhound station.

You should be able to box the two together and ship Greyhound. Their max weight is 100 lbs. That should save some.

I'll say this one thing. I ordered a R. Fr. fender for my 70 yesterday from ChevyDuty (among other things) & my S&H was only $17.07!!!!

Check out this thread. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=127193 This poor guy got hosed for freight and now UPS is giving him the run around for insurance claiming improper packing. I am hesitant to buy anything large and fragile from ebay for precicely this reason. My prefered freight carrier is FedEx Ground. Allways cheaper than UPS.
Good luck.

DHL is the best price of the big 3. I shipped a tailgate from N. Maine to FL for 54 dollars and it went there in a little over 2 days! I just bought a fender, DHL
Rocks!
