3/4 ton guys lets see your rims and tires

my dad is looking at a 72 chevy 4x4 3/4 ton on thursday and was just curious as to what kind of deep dish style rims bolt on. he is a big rallye fan but as far as i know they dont have an 8 hole version, only 5 and 6. is there any other deep dish steel wheels that you can put rings and caps on? or even a stock steel rim that is 8 inches wide that you can run stock hub caps on? anyone with info please let me know so i can pass it on to my dad. thanks

Derek

I know that the 16" trim rings from the 90's Chevy 3/4 and 1 ton trucks will go on stock 8 lug rims. I had those on my truck with the newer 76-87 dog dish hubcaps and it looked good. Here's a trimring on eBay. I bought one from this guy before and it was in great shape:

Here's a pic of an original rim from my '70, has a 7.5/16LT bias ply tire with an inner tube.

16x7 El Cheapo wheels with Q78 x 16 SuperSwamper TSL’s

Yes, they are tall and skinny and work great in the deep mountain snow.
