A couple of questions about a 77 chevy stepside ?

First off this is a great board, I'm working on a 77 stepside for my nephew he wants to put 18" in the front and 20" in the rear what widths can we go, also we'd like to lower it at least 5" and just wanted to know what to do with the side mounted fuel tanks any help is appreciated.

not sure on the wheels, shouldnt need more than 8 front 10" rear but thats just me... you wont have to do anything with the side mounted tanks if you lower it 5". they shouldnt drag the ground or anything... could always do a fuel cell in the bed, or a blazer tank swap under the bed where the spare should go.
