Color questions
What was the color of the engine in 49?

I believe it was blue. But im not sure. I know the 235 in my year model truck came black. But im pretty sure the older 216's and some 235's came blue.

Mine has a 235 in it.It was a replacement for the 216 in 1953.
I wanted to have the correct color for the year. Thanx
