Pimped suburban

I have a request. Some of you may have heard of MTV's "Pimp My Ride", well they just recently overhauled a 1985 Suburban (episode 203) and I would like to add it to the TV & Movies page on 73-87.com. Here is my problem, I cannot get the pictures from their site (see below) saved to my PC. Can anyone help me retrieve these?

http://www.mtv.com/onair/dyn/pimp_my...pisodeID=81706

Obviously this is not my style of truck, but I just want to get it on the site for those 73-87 enthusiast who are.

Thanks folks.

BTW - Moderators, if this is the wrong forum please feel free to move it to a better spot..wasn't sure where to start it.

Its not real big but its all I can get for now.
If you do this often, I use a program called Screen Capture. You can get it from www.download.com. for free.

I got the same effect by simply taking a screenshot (ALT+Print Scrn), pasting it into a photo editor, then cropping out the extra stuff.

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

I ended up doing the alt/print screen/photoshop crop...worked good. Can't believe I didn't think of that.

Too bad they don't show any more pics of it. I like the wheel/tire combo anyway....

if you guys didnt see the show.... ICK!!! she had rust holes the size of my fist in the roof from cab clearance lights, the showed on camera slathering bondo into the holes without replacing any metal or even using something to back the hole. then later they ran the camera down the side after it was painted and there were dings all over the doors.

I like the interior color. I think that may be about it, though.

I watched the show this weekend where they did the same thing with a '58 VW Bus. They pop riveted what looked like pieces of aluminum siding over the rusty holes, and then covered them with Bondo. I told my wife that the best thing the owner could do would be to sell it immediately in order to capitalize on the fact that it was on TV, and before the bondo starts falling out in giant chunks.

Maybe I am missing something here but when I follow that link and the picture come up I right click and pick "save picture as" or whatever it is?
I've done that a few places where it wants to save it as a bitmap image (.bmp), but when I open it in my program (photoshop or even MS photo editor) I can save it as a JPEG (.jpg) or GIF (.gif).

That normally works, but in this case, when you go to the photos link...it opens a new window and the "right click, save as" feature does not work for me...and maybe others.

Best thing about the truck? BURPLE!! If I weren't going original red, my truck would be BURPLE!
P.S. : That's the one thing about PMR that i somewhat dislike; they often ignore mechanical issues in leau of "pimp" issues. Like she had an oil leak when she brought it in, and I'm sure they fixed it, or at least i hope they did... But the bondo is OKAY with me, cause they would blow their budget if for every show they did new sheetmetal. And there is nothing wrong with bondo if used IN MODERATION (cue for people who drive Dodges to lay off the bondo). I guarantee I'll use bondo in the little holes if i can. But not on a massive scale.
Next week's show: an old school S-10, i can't wait.

Oh, I see! I didn't actually click the link, I just hit the first picture I came to. I know there is a way to extract images from Flash, but I don't remember how. I'll talk to my Flash experts and get back to you later........

I can't believe you guys! While I'm a big Suburban fan (I own one), the truck wasn't what I was paying the most attention to in that episode. The owner, on the other hand, was HOT...

I do agree that they could have done much better with that truck. They've done a couple that were neat, but mostly I watch the show for the comic relief.

My thoughts exactly. The only thing I would have done different was to do a 10" lift in the rear instead of the 8". All the TV's and stuff have it loaded down and dragging @ss!
