Gas Tank Question
Will a 1972 Suburban gas tank replace a 1972 Blazer gas tank?
I have a 72 Blazer coming in that needs the tank replaced. I have a 72 Suburban tank I was going to put under my 9 foot stepside truck, but never did. Will it work? Anyone done this? Thanks, Don |

Believe the burb tank will fit fine. May have to change senders as I recall something about the ohm's difference. May need to swap out straps and filler hoses as the tank filler might be a bit different. Let us know how it works out. Huck

The tanks are the same, you will have to switch the filler necks though, they are bolted on and solder on so you need to use a propane torch to get them off.
