Question Cranking Problem

I just bought another 87 Silverado. This one is 4x4. The previous owner just put a new battery and alternator on it. Sometimes it will not crank, no power to the radio, door locks, nothing! I have noticed several times it cranks up, but all the clock on the radio is wrong, and the stations haveto be reset. Is this a ground problem ? Ground to frame ? Also the transfer case is leaking around a bolt, but the bolt is tight....any suggestions

Check the fuseable link connections and the start wire connection at the starter. Also check the fuseable links for opens. Good Luck.
