headlight switch
I have a 70 c10 and want to change the guages. How do you remove the headlight switch kob on the end. I see the windshield wipers have a set screw but dont see one on the headlights. Any help is appreciated.

there is a button on the switch which needs to be pressed and then the knob will pull out. reach up behind the dash and feel around on the switch the button is round just hold it in and pull the knob out.

there's a little button on the switch.. If you stick your hand and feel on the top of the switch you'lll feel a teeny tiny little knob that you can push down.. Push it down and pull out the switch like you were turning on the lights but it will come right out . It's easy once you figure it out

Does anyone know where a new Headlight rod can be purchased? My truck has the switch but no rod.
