Window Regulator and Motor
I also am selling a front driver side power window motor and regulator from the same 1989 Suburban. Works great and will take $40.00 shipped if there is any interest. Wiring and plugs included uncut.

I will check my Hollander manual at work on Monday and will let you know. Pretty sure they interchange. I suppose it could be wiring but if you have a spare battery, you can take off your door panel and jump straight to the regulator with a couple pieces of wire. You'll know for sure that it is the regulator at that point. Cheaper than just buying the parts and guessing. Let me know what happens.

I don't know if you smoked either the motor or the wiring. Your problem might be more than the regulator now. You will have to do some testing with a current test light to see if your wiring is fried. Then you will also know which is pos-neg. Also check fuses. Give me a PM as soon as youv'e determined the problem. The Hollander manual says that my parts interchange with yours.

Hi I just installed the window motor today and it rolls up fine but when I try to roll the window down it rolls down for about 3 seconds and dies put mine back in and it works fine just a little slow that is the reason for me wanting a different motor your post said the motor worked great. Now im still in the same position less $35

Just checked this thread. Didn't tell me there was a problem with the motor. Read about it here first. He's being refunded including shipping. Ask him in about a week to a week and 1/2. I take the blame for a faulty motor. Worked the day before I shipped it. Things happen and I don't want a bad rep on this board.
