More paint work on truck

A few shots from yesterday's progress. The lettering on the hood is painted and we will clear it today. The tailgate lettering is also painted but is hard to see in this picture. Now, its on to the doors and cab to finish up so assembly can begin

Looks great! Post more pics!! Post more pics!! This message board beats watching "Trucks" (i.e.Copperhead), because here you actually get to see some progress AND completion of some many great trucks! Boy, was that sentence a run-on. Later, FCG

Yes, it mounted just fine. I did mount it slightly differently though. I'll send you pics so you can see what I did.

Paint Jobs where everthing is taken apart and painted run in the neighborhood of $4000 - $7000 depending on the paint color/ two stage and the shop. I just had my truck taken apart and painted this way. BY the way....YOUR Truck looks AWESOME!!! Love the color...so I'll bite...What color is that???

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I'll post some more pics tomorrow.

As it turns out, its the identical color the '04 Avalanche, '03 Hummer, '05 Corvette and I'm sure other GM products too. There was an '03 Hummer H2 in the shop and it matched the color chip exactly.

He said he would charge $10,000 for the paint work we are doing to this truck. Thank goodness I spent a few weekends helping him re-side his house, build an enclosed patio and install some French doors. This is going to be my daily driver so it's going to be a sad day when I get my first door ding or rock chip. But, if I can't drive it I don't need it....
