Painting

Probably in Jan I am planning to remove the cab and get it bead blasted. Since I am getting it blasted I will need to get it primered and painted as well. I have talked to folks who said that If I get the cab painted I would have to get the rest of the truck painted or it wont match and I have been told no thats not true. You can get the amount of paint needed to do the truck mixed etc and spray when needed. I dont know jack about paint and what you have to do prep work wise to paint. Any suggestions?

if the conditions are different when painting, then yeah the paint might not match. even if you get enough paint mixed all at once. but with the spray booths now a days if you take it to the same shop and the same painter and the same booth, you should be fine, and if there is a difference, you probably wont be able to notice it.
