Window regulator interchangeability
Ok so I know what year door panels I can swap easily into my '73 but what about window regulators? I have a full pw/pl setup from a mid 80's truck and am wondering if the regulators will swap easily? Thanks for any info

Yes and no. You can drill holes in the door to make them fit, but you will not be able to keep the 73 style short door panels. You can use the newer door panels and make it look OK, or you will have to swap doors to the newer style.

They won't "bolt up" to a 73-76 door. They changed the door and the door panels that year because they started offering Power windows. I have seen someone "make" them work, but the bottom regulator bolts are exposed.
